Dr. Alice S. Kitchel has a professional focus on assisting organizations and communities in identifying core issues, finding common ground, and creating a better future. Alice is experienced with Future Search, other participative methods for strategic planning, team building and problem resolution. Alice numbers government agencies, small non-profits, and individuals among her clients.
Prior to becoming a consultant to organizations and communities and a coach, for 25 years Alice worked as an art therapist and counselor in a variety of settings including a private psychotherapy practice. Alice is an accomplished artist, and uses art in her work with individuals and organizations.
Alice has taught undergraduate psychology at Norwich University and art therapy at Northern Vermont University and the College of St. Joseph.
Alice has a A. B. from Wellesley College, an M. A. in Art Therapy from Norwich University, an M. A. in Human Development from Fielding Graduate University, and a Ph. D. in Human and Organizational Development, also from Fielding.5
